Syracuse University students start campaign to try to get people to stop texting while driving

The anti-texting while driving campaign kicks off at Friday night’s SU-Virginia at the Carrier Dome. 

About 15,000 rubber thumb bands, inscribed with the word “pause,” will be distributed to students on the quad before the game and at some of the entrance gates to the Dome. The thumb bands are a Promise to Drive Safe!!
